$50,000 to 72 athletes

The City of Lévis recently held its 8th Lévis Athlete Ambassador Awards Ceremony at the Multifunctional Aquatic Complex. In the presence of the Mayor of Lévis, Gilles Lehouillier, a total of US$50,000 was presented to the 72 athletes who received a scholarship. Since 2015, the City of Lévis has awarded $387,000 divided into 535 grants to 208 athletes. This financial support aims to highlight sporting excellence in Lévis and to encourage athletes to practice their sport. $70,000 in grants

The Caisse Desjardins de Limoilou recently announced the recipients of its 2022 scholarship program. 51 students have been selected by the Caisse to receive a scholarship of up to US$4,000, for a total of US$57,000. These scholarships were awarded to students from high school to university level who showed particular dedication and perseverance. In addition, eight members of the Caisse received a grant from the Desjardins Foundation during an activity held at the Stadaconé Distillery in October, bringing the total number of grants shared among its members to more than $70,000 in 2022 increased. The Fondation du Cégep de Sainte-Foy is holding its annual benefit exhibition on March 22, 2023 at 8 p.m. in the Salle Albert-Rousseau. The Rideau Rouge evening with the Orchester symphonique de Québec and its concert Hollywood will be under the honorary presidency Karen Gaudreault, Vice-President, Member and Customer Relations, at Desjardins Assurances and preceded by a cocktail reception on the theme of the celebration aimed at highlighting Cégep de Sainte-Foy’s students and honoring the various donors.
