Raising public awareness of the positive use, but also of the dangers of unsupervised use of screens is one of the goals of “Growing up well with screens!”.

The exhibition gallery houses painting, photography and installations, while the workshop side is dominated by music (piano, drums, bass, guitar, polyphony and choral singing). This 4th edition of Grow well with screens is open to everyone, parents and professionals, and is dedicated to the correct use of “digital and screen”.

09:30 – 11:00 Interactive conference: “Screens and children: the right distance”

With Agnès BARBER and Sandra LABOUCARIE, journalists specialized in youth press.

9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: hands-on stands, exchange workshops and exhibitions

  • Games without a screen: games workshop with household items
  • Live a sensory journey experience: the imagination through a screen
  • Discover the parents’ cafes: time for discussions about the place of the screens at home
  • Playing and discovering the infrastructure of the Internet: an “Educonum” game on media use
  • Discover “Graine de Labo”: an urban introductory course in programming and robotics
  • Experimenting with setting up a radio studio: recording podcast sequences
  • Discover the digital pedagogical and educational tools of a school in Toulouse and CLAE
  • Participate in a “philosophical discussion”: social networks and the perspective of others
  • Explore the exhibition “CLICK or not CLICK”: question and answer games
  • Learn more about 3D printing: from virtual to real
  • Supporting digital parenting: animation of interactive games
  • Present “page books/side walls”: the complementarity of book and wall.

This day is managed by the Education Department of Toulouse Town Hall in collaboration with the Urban Departments of Early Childhood, Childhood and Leisure and the Urban Service of Hygiene and Health, Department of Social Solidarity and Social Cohesion, Toulouse Métropole , the Popular Education Associations Léo- Lagrange, LEC Grand Sud and Les Francas, the House for the Rights of Children and Young People, the Reynerie Social Center, the Mazades Cultural Center, Canopé 31 and the ‘National Education.
