Scholarships for technical schooling: a sigh of aid for college kids and their mother and father

This is a relief for students enrolled in public technical and vocational schools in Guinea and their parents. Like their friends in higher education, these students have just benefited from scholarships and alimony thanks to the numerous reforms implemented by the heads of the department, led by Minister Alpha Bacar Barry.

Since Saturday October 14, 2022, a scholarship and a maintenance grant have been established in the Republic of Guinea in favor of learners in public technical education and training institutions.

In the decree signed by the Head of State, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya, these students can now benefit from amounts that vary according to the sector and the type of school practiced.

Thus, the monthly amount of the maintenance grant is GNF 150,000 for students enrolled in health schools and other sectors; 200,000 GNF for those working in the National Schools of Agriculture and Livestock (ENAE), Regional Arts and Crafts Schools (ERAM), Center for Environmental and Development Education (CEED), National School of Water and Forestry Engineers (ENATEF) and 250,000 GNF for those in Universities of Education (ENI).

This achievement, judged by public opinion to be very salutary, once again shows, if necessary, the attachment of the Head of State, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya, to the education sector, particularly to technical education and vocational training, because in addition to the right to continue free of charge In addition to the courses in the orientation courses offered, the scholarship helps the scholarship holders to cover certain basic needs such as transport, meals, accommodation and procurement of certain consumables.

With such progress, the many students at technical and vocational schools can only rub their hands. Especially for those who know the living and study conditions in which many of them found themselves.
